About Sundance Golf Club

Built over rolling terrain with terrific mountain views, Sundance Golf Club has been establishing itself as a favored golf venue on the west side of the Valley. The course, which opened in 2003, was designed by prolific Arizona architect Greg Nash. The par-72 layout plays nearly 7,000 yards from the tips, but there are three other sets of tees, making it challenging and playable by all levels of players. This target-style desert golf course has interesting holes at every turn. Many of the hole are framed by the White Tank Mountains, and on some of the holes, golfers have to carry washes to find the fairway. The signature hole is the arguably the sixth, a 175-yard, par-3, and the only hole that plays over a water feature. The finishing stretch is strong, starting with the 250-yard, par-3 16th, which plays over a wash. The 17th, the course's no. 1 handicap hole, is a 490-yard par 4. Thankfully, the fairway is pretty generous. And the last hole is a straightaway par-5, but it plays 601 yards from the tips. Besides the golf course, Sundance Golf Club also offers a driving range, short-game area, and practice putting green. Golf lessons are also available from the PGA professionals on staff. And inside the clubhouse is a fully-stocked golf shop with men's and women's apparel, plenty of accessories and large selection of equipment. Rental clubs are also available.
