Eastwood Golf Course

Formerly the Streator Golf Course, Eastwood Golf Course is a very playable nine-hole layout that will challenge the average golfer. A great place for a quick round or to work on your game, the course plays around 3,000 yards from the back set of tees, has a little bit of trouble, some tall trees, and subtle, but sometimes tricky greens. It?s an old school golf course, having first opened in 1910. The greens slope back to front, so staying below the hole is the best strategy. Both par 5s are under 500 yards, so longer hitters can easily reach them in two. The no. 1 handicap hole is the 418-yard ninth. There?s not much trouble, but it is a little bit long and plays through a narrow chute of trees. There?s some water on the course, too, which comes into play on the par-4 sixth approach shot and the par-3 seventh, where golfers must carry the water to find the green. Eastwood Golf Course does not have a driving range, but lessons are available from the golf professionals at the course. There is also a practice putting green. The clubhouse offers a golf shop, bar and restaurant, which are open every day. Banquet facilities are also available for special events like meetings and weddings.
