About Connecticut National Golf Club

Connecticut National Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 71, golf course open to the public. The original 6169 yard design opened in 1994 as Putnam Country Club. In 2007 the Club was purchased by Jim Dandeneau and Brad Rabitor, and since has gone through a complete redesign by golf architect Mark Mungen. A new 9,000 sq. ft. clubhouse offers a ProShop, restaurant & bar, and a 200 seat function hall for weddings, golf tournaments, and other outings. The club's previous rating in the Top 100 New England courses is sure to rapidly escalate as the renovations mature. Over the past 17 months, the course has added over 700 yards (totaling 6900 +), 33 tee decks, 44 bunkers, a complete dual row irrigation system, new drainage, 5 acres of additional fairway and rough, and extensive earth movement which created an entirely new look and feel. The driving range has been totally revamped with the edition of target greens, greatly enlarged tee areas of both grass and matt surfaces, as well as a new lesson tee on the far end of the range. The course now offers an enjoyable challenge from 5800 to over 6900 yards. Located off Interstate 395 in Northeastern CT., Connecticut National Golf Club is convenient to New England golfers. Many of our faithful drive in from Worcester, Providence, Boston, and Hartford. Our mission is to be considered the best value in golf.
