Winchester Country Club, ranked 26th among California’s top courses is just 35 minutes from downtown Sacramento. The stunning course is a rare co-design by Robert Trent Jones Senior and Junior. Winchester is an 18 hole, par 72 course with stunning views of Auburn and the Sacramento Valley. This is one of the last courses co-designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The course encompasses 223 forested acres and incorporates natural features such as streams, lakes and granite outcropping. 5 sets of tees ranging from 7114 to 5144 yards create playing options for golfers of every ability. The golf course finishes below a 35,000 square foot clubhouse built in the style of European hunting lodges that won Golf Inc.’s "Clubhouse of the Year" in 2005. The course has been ranked by Golf Digest as #1 in Sacramento Valley and currently ranked 26th among California’s great courses.
