About Tucson National (Omni)
The Omni Resorts Tucson National, in Tucson, Arizona has two very different 18-hole championship golf courses that covers 260 acres in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains. The Catalina Course, designed by Robert von Hagge and Bruce Devlin, has hosted dozens of PGA and NCAA events over the years. A traditional-style course with long fairways overlooking the beauty of the Santa Catalina Mountains. The PGA pros rank the 18th hole as "one of the most challenging finishing holes on the tour." In 2005 they added a second course, The Sonoran Course, designed by the legendary Tom Lehman. Here the fairways are bunked and tree-lined, which can cause plenty of problems off the tee. Grab some food in the clubhouse after round one and you'll have the strength to play both courses at The Omni Resorts Tucson National all in one afternoon.
